Nema The Hard Charger (Gung Ho Gun Title)

...Just another Trigun/Bebop oc of mine. Her name is Nema Thompson (she's related to Milly😅) and she's part of the Trigun/Bebop story I been writing for a while. She's close friends with an older Radical Edward and Vash the Stampede, and she first met Edward when they were younger and were abducted by human traffickers and put into a brothel together, but they quickly escaped and moved to planet Gunsmoke. Nema grows up with Edward on Gunsmoke where they meet Vash the Stampede. I had always intended for Nema to remain as a character siding with the "good" side, but I thought it'd be interesting to give her an alternative storyline where she ends up as a Gung-Ho Gun (why not?). It all happens when Spike Spiegel hunts down Vash and Nema has to make the decision whether or not to kill Spike in order to protect Vash from being captured. In the original plot, she declines and allows Spike to live; she becomes his bounty hunting apprentice and all is well. But in the alternative plot, she snipes Spike in the head as he bends down to tie his shoe...and she's shocked and immediately ashamed at what she's done. Edward sees Spike lying on the ground dead...and Vash's disappointment causes Nema to feel even worse, even though she had saved him from being taken away by the now-deceased bounty hunter. Nema ends up regressing into insanity from the guilt she feels from killing Spike, and ends up running away and becomes a hired assassin for Knives...Knives does a cranial operation on her that removes the portion of her brain which contains the "empathy" compartment, thus turning Nema into a cold-blooded killer. She is named "Nema the Hard-Charger" for her fearless sniping and hand-to-hand combat feats... And she is confronted by Vash one day, who attempts to get her to turn from her bloodthirsty and violent ways. Nema coldly declines and ends up killing Vash in the ensuing battle, and saves the bullet that killed him by wearing it around her neck as a trophy of some sort. She is shown here in her final confrontation with Vash in which she ultimately ends up killing him when he tells her that Edward died from a sudden illness (Edward gets heartbroken about Nema's decision to side with Knives and it ends up killing her)... I'm just a sucker for devastating alternate plots... Good thing Nema makes the right decision and doesn't actually do this😅
